Eurovision 2026 Methodology
FestivalStats publishes an unofficial Eurovision 2026 indicator. It is not a replacement for official results and should be read as an independent traction signal.
The model combines public, regularly observable signals such as streaming activity, video performance, radio exposure, social momentum, and search interest. Signals are standardized to make different scales comparable.
How the score is built (high level)
- Collect raw values from selected public sources and update the shared dataset.
- Clean and normalize each metric to reduce outlier distortion and align ranges.
- Aggregate normalized metrics into a single composite score with fixed weights.
- Sort by composite score to produce the leaderboard and trend direction.
Limitations
- Data availability can vary by country, platform, and timing of updates.
- Public proxies do not fully represent total audience behavior.
- Short-term volatility can temporarily affect ranks and trend signals.
- The model is descriptive and should not be interpreted as an official forecast.
Transparency
We aim to keep this section explicit about sources, assumptions, and known caveats. When data is unavailable, the page remains online and clearly signals temporary gaps instead of failing silently.
